This October 3rd, our culinary and agricultural communities will come together at Poplar Grove Winery for a special evening in support of two local farming families impacted by the Bald Range wildfire.

Chefs for Farmers brings together some of the Okanagan’s most celebrated chefs, local producers, wineries and community members for an evening celebrating the bounty of our valley while giving back to the people who help make it possible.

The event will support Thomas Tumbach and family of LocalMotive and Brian Callow and family of What the Fungus Mushrooms, both of whom experienced devastating losses as a result of the Bald Range wildfire.

Throughout the evening, participating chefs will each host a food station featuring a harvest-inspired dish that celebrates the ingredients grown and produced here in the Okanagan. Guests are invited to move throughout the event, meeting the chefs, enjoying small plates paired with wine and experiencing the connection between the people who grow our food and those who bring it to our tables.

Poplar Grove’s culinary team will welcome guests with passed canapés, followed by chef stations throughout the winery. A fundraising auction will also take place in the Legacy Room, with proceeds going directly to support the recipient families.

At its heart, this evening is an opportunity to say thank you.

Tickets: $160 per person (tax included)
