Restaurant Floor Manager

As a Poplar Grove Floor Manager, you would be joining a team of professionals dedicated to hospitality and creating exceptional guest experiences. The role is vital to the success of the restaurant and requires you to manage a diverse team of servers, server assistants and expos during Lunch and Dinner service. From setting the stage during pre-service to the last guest leaving, you will ensure great experiences for our winery guests. This is a great opportunity to work with professionals eager to establish Poplar Grove as a culinary destination.
Duties include:
- Managing the team from beginning of service to closing.
- Ensuring that standards of service are met.
- Creating and maintaining an environment where the team is performing to their potential.
- Energize staff in an environment of trust, approachability, optimism, and integrity.
- Ability to manage issues in a positive, solution-oriented manner.
Additional information:
- Seasonal from mid-May to Thanksgiving with opportunities for longer term employment
- 4 to 5-day work week
- 5 to 8-hour shifts
- Opportunities within the larger company
Requirements:
- At least two-years serving experience, and one year in management
- WSET or equal is a bonus
